Huiyu Liu is a full Professor & PhD supervisor of Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), and won the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars and Newton Advanced Fellowship. She received PhD from the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry (TIPC), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2007. From 2007 to 2010, she worked as an associate professor at TIPC. Prof. Liu joined the institute of College of Life Science and Technology at BUCT at the end of 2015. Her research primarily focuses on biomedical nanomaterials, and the main achievements have been published in well-known international journals, including Nat. Biotechnol., Sig. Transduct. Target. Ther., J. Am.
Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater. To date, Prof. Liu has published more than 150 papers, which have already been cited more than 15900 times (H-index 59). She also holds 18 granted invention patents and 2 PCT international patents. She serves as an Associate Editor for Exploration (one of its four co-founding editors; 2024 CiteScore: 27.8, ranking among the top 2% globally and 4th worldwide in its multidisciplinary field), published by Wiley, and for Adv. Nanocompos., published by
KeAi. She is also an Editorial Board Member of Fundam. Res., Aggregate, J. Nanotechnol., and Mater. Des., as well as a Youth Editorial Board Member of BMEmat and the Chinese Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, and a Standing Committee Member of the Nanobiotechnology Branch of China Medicinal Biotech Association.
Prof. Liu has received several awards for her contributions to medical science and technology, including the 18th China Youth Science and Technology Award, First Prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award, First Prize of Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award, Second Prize of the Beijing Medical Science and Technology Award, Young Scientist Award of the Chinese Medical Science and
Technology Award, the Lu Jiaxi Young Talent Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Beijing Science and Technology Rising Star award. Her research work has been recognized among the top 25 original research articles globally for 2019/2020 by Angew. Chem. Additionally, prof. Liu has consecutively been named in the Elsevier-Stanford “World's Top 2% Scientists” list for annual scientific impact every year from 2019 to 2024. |
